Vehicle lighting is a requirement in areas where poor or inadequate fixed lighting is available. The operator must have lights to ensure safe load handling and safety for the operation of his vehicle. The vehicle should be seen and the operator must be able to see his surroundings. Lights are not part of the standard forklift truck equipment and usually must be added to meet special requirements - e.g. Road Traffic Specification.
