       In Europe the owner of a forklift truck has to make sure that his lift truck is suitable for the intended use within his plant or warehouse. An appointed public servant tests and approves each truck on a yearly basis. If the truck is approved, a suitable certificate as shown to the right is attached to the truck. The certificate shows also the date of the next approval test due.
